Operating within the D band, Samson's AirLine 88 gives you a frequency-agile, rack-mountable wireless receiver with 16 channels, as well as the AG8 Guitar Transmitter, which cuts out the need for a separate beltpack or cable by plugging directly into the 1/4" jack on your instrument. The transmitter is designed with a dual-position connector which can fit all manners of guitar jacks. The transmitter is also suitable for electric basses, violins, and even accordions. This frequency-agile UHF wireless system provides an operating range of 300', tone key technology to prevent unwanted noise when you do stray out of range, IR sync for wireless matching, a mute switch, a battery life LED indicator, and more.
Transmitter Functionality
Designed to be an extension of your instrument rather than a separate component, the AG8 Guitar Transmitter plugs directly into its 1/4" jack; it provides IR sync to wirelessly match the receiver and transmitter frequency, an audio Mute switch, a battery life LED indicator, and up to 12 hours of operation on a single AA battery
Receiver Functionality
Sporting frequency-agile operation, the system's rack-mountable CR88 Wireless Receiver provides 16 selectable channels; the receiver's True Diversity design minimizes dropouts, while tone key technology prevents unwanted noise when your transmitter is off or out of range
