Palo Alto Prisma Secure Browser for Business - 1-Year Subscription License
A managed, Chromium-based enterprise browser with security and data controls baked in - the fastest way to give unmanaged devices and contractors safe access to SaaS.
Overview
Prisma Secure Browser is Palo Alto Networks' enterprise browser (built on the Talon acquisition), designed for the reality that a huge share of the modern workday happens inside a browser tab. It runs Chromium locally on the endpoint but adds a policy layer that controls what users can paste, download, upload, screenshot, or print out of SaaS apps and internal web tools. IT gets DLP, session recording, phishing protection, and Zero Trust access without needing to route traffic through a proxy or install a full endpoint agent. Especially useful for BYOD, contractor, and M&A scenarios where a managed device is not an option. Sold as an annual per-user subscription.
Key features
Chromium-based, familiar UX: Users get a browser that looks and behaves like Chrome or Edge - no retraining, no compatibility issues with SaaS apps.
Built-in DLP: Policy-based control of copy/paste, uploads, downloads, screenshots, and printing at the browser layer - stops data leakage from any web app.
Phishing and malware protection: Category-level and reputation-based blocking, credential-reuse detection, and safe-browsing at the tab level.
Session recording and audit: Optional session recording and full audit trail for high-sensitivity applications, useful for regulated environments and third-party contractors.
Zero Trust access: Application-level access without a VPN - identity- and posture-aware policy applied per tab.
BYOD and contractor ready: Deploy to unmanaged laptops in minutes. No MDM, no full endpoint agent, no OS-level agent required.
Integrates with Prisma and Cortex: Signal flows into the wider Palo Alto stack; leverages existing SASE, XDR, and SOC investments.
Built for
Enterprises replacing legacy VDI or DaaS for third-party and contractor access to internal web apps.
BYOD-heavy environments where installing a full endpoint agent is not viable.
M&A and divestiture scenarios where a fast, secure browser-only access path bridges IT integrations.
